Welcome to San Joaquin Sourdough
San Joaquin Sourdough is an an artisan cottage sourdough micro-bakery in San Joaquin County that specializes in leavened naturally, long fermented, and locally made sourdough breads. Additionally, San Joaquin Sourdough focuses on using locally sourced, naturally grown, freshly milled heritage grains.
San Joaquin Sourdough was founded by Joshua who grew up in the San Fransisco Bay Area. Joshua first learned how to bake from his mother who is a chef, and always had a love for fresh and locally made sourdough. During college, his passion for baking grew into a small sandwich shop he started on his college campus. After college and grad school he spent over a decade in South East Asia doing non-profit work and agricultural community development. After his time in Asia he and his wife and children moved to San Francisco during which time he started to focus exclusively on Sourdough (naturally leavened) baking. After moving to San Joaquin county in 2018, Joshua’s passion for natural and sustainable agriculture along with his dedication to naturally leavened Sourdough baking lead to the founding of San Joaquin Sourdough.

Sourdough Country Loaf– $10

A long fermented (24-48 hours) round sourdough loaf made with organically grown unbleached wheat. Additionally, at least 25% of the flour used is locally grown and freshly milled heritage whole wheat.
Ingredients: Flour, Water, Salt, Natural Yeast
Sourdough Focaccia -$12

Sizes $12– Full Loaf, $8– Round loaf, $6 personal size
A slow fermented (12-16 hour) naturally leavened (sourdough) focaccia made with organic wheat specially grown in volcanic soil. Also made with Organic olive oil and seasonal toppings.
Ingredients: Flour, Water, Olive Oil, Salt, Natural Yeast, (Seasonal Toppings)
Focaccia Bites– $20/box

A box of small bite-sized focaccias, which makes every bite, the “perfect bite!”
